Our Story

Rendered Skincare was born out of curiosity and a little bit of desperation. During my first pregnancy, I went down the rabbit hole of researching what was really in the products I was putting on my skin every day. What I discovered about common skincare ingredients and their links to hormone disruption and toxicity was eye-opening (and honestly, scary).

When winter rolled around, I developed painful eczema on my hands, and nothing from the store seemed to work. That’s when I turned to something simple, ancestral, and incredibly effective: tallow.
It soothed my skin, healed the eczema completely, and sparked a deep passion for creating truly non-toxic, nutrient-rich skincare that works with your body; not against it.

Today, my husband and I run Rendered Skincare from our family home in Manakau, where we’re raising our four children and slowly transforming our property into a self-sustaining food forest. Our passion for living with nature and reducing our footprint flows into everything we create from sourcing local, ethical ingredients to using recyclable, low-impact packaging.
